Moldex 2400 Disposable Respirator Features - Details
Moldex 2400 Disposable Respirators provide 95% efficiency in protecting against non oil based particulate, plus an added carbon layer to filter out nuisance levels (less than OSHA PEL) of ozone and organic vapors. The 2400 is suitable for most welding fumes, and a wide variety of other dusty environments in which no oils are present.
The Moldex 2400 is a vented respirator with an exhale button valve that releases heat and improves breathability for the wearer. This keeps workers cool and comfortable. Each mask has Moldex's Dura-Mesh® shell to resist hot, humid conditions for longer, letting workers use fewer masks and making the 2400 a very cost-efficient solution.
Moldex 2400 disposable respirators are comfortable. The nose bridge is contoured and stays in place with no need for a metal noseband. The foam nose pad and the Softspun liner keep the face and skin comfortable during use, with no unpleasant pressure points. Standard 2-strap design with latex straps.
Moldex 2400 Disposable Respirator Applications
Waste processing, sewage treatment, paint and varnish manufacturing, food processing, printing, chemical processing, agriculture, lab settings, welding and foundry operations. Also great for hot, humid, and dusty environments such as poultry and textiles, lime, buffing, polishing, underground mining, cement, metal machining, stone quarrying, bagging and sweeping, sanding, grinding, soldering, and brazing. Note: for use with non oil based particulates only.
Choosing N-, R-, or P-Series Particulate Respirators
Filter efficiency shows how much filter leakage can be accepted. Higher efficiency means less leakage.
95%, 99%, and 99.97% are the most common filter efficiency ratings.
Used in particulate environments free of oil aerosols. N-series filters cannot be used if oil particles are present.
Used for oil and non-oil particles with time use limitations specified by NIOSH. If oil particles (e.g., lubricants, cutting fluids, glycerine) are present, use an R- or P-series filter.
