Product Reviews for SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders® Ultra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plugs (NRR 30)SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders® Ultra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plugs (NRR 30)RichardMay 9, 2017I like the ltra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plug. They fit well they stay in place and the are comfortable to wear. They are not a full block so that you hear nothing. You can sill hear but they do a great job of protecting your ears from loud noise. I use them for construction. Also the Ear Plug Store has been a real blessing to work with. SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders® Ultra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plugs (NRR 30)bpbFebruary 23, 2017I generally try to commute on my motorcycle (Suzuki SV650 with Yoshimura slip-on can) and these are the best earplugs I have used. They are even more effective than other roll up plugs with a larger NRR. The difference is that the design keeps them in place whereas the foam and PVC plugs always work their way out eventually. They help with wind, engine, and exhaust noise although my bike is not that loud. I cannot say how these compare to custom plugs. SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders® Ultra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plugs (NRR 30)Paul NortonMay 29, 2016I used the Surefire EP4 ear plugs while riding my motorcycle last year. When the EP010s were introduced I bought a pair of them to try. They are a little more difficult to install, but are quieter, more comfortable, and stay put even on long rides. As they are not colour coded, I marked the right ear plug with a red marker. SureFire EarPro Sonic Defenders® Ultra Max EP10 Full Block Foam-Tipped Ear Plugs (NRR 30)SamFebruary 28, 2016Disclaimer: I use earplugs for clubbing. These are good, but I personally like the EP5s better for the purpose of clubbing. The sound is better. Also, I think the ep5s may be better at blocking out heavy base sounds, even though it has an overall lower NRR rating. Surefire ep5s are also easier to put in. In summary, these are good but I prefer the surefire EP5s.
