Walker's Razor Slim Patriot Details

Walker's Razor Patriot Ear Muffs have an ultra low-profile design featuring extra slim ear cups, for a secure fit that won't impede shooting and free movement. These electronic shooter's ear muffs protect against hazardous noises (especially gunshot blast noise), while still letting you clearly hear everything going on around you.

The Patriot model comes with two free US Flag patches. The muffs are available in black, FDE (American flag), and OD green.

Sound Amplification

Razor Patriot Ear Muffs amplify safe sounds using two hi-gain microphones to provide clear omni-directional hearing. The low end frequencies are enhanced to produce accurate, natural sound. You'll be able to hear better with these earmuffs on than you could with just your ears alone. But when a blast noise occurs, amplification is shut off and sound is compressed, quickly, with a slim 0.02 attack time.

Rugged Design

Razor Patriot features a rugged design with a rubberized coating, helping to prevent damage to the interior electronics. The housing is made from a sound dampening composite, cutting down on noise transfer when the earmuffs are touched. The headband is a padded metal wire frame, which is both comfortable and durable. The earmuffs can be folded into a compact little ball, making it easy to store and transport them.

Easy-to-use Controls

The controls are simple. These muffs have a volume control knob on the outside that is slightly recessed - a perfect balance between providing easy-to-use controls, and preventing accidental volume adjustments. The battery door also opens from the exterior.

Listen to Music

These ear muffs also have an audio input jack, allowing you to plug in your phone or other favorite sound source, effectively converting these ear muffs into a set of headphones with hearing protection. Too, the sound isolation from the muffs helps improve the audio quality you'll hear, bringing details into focus. Never miss out on your favorite sports and music.

I am very happy with my Razor slim muffs. I had never considered using muffs with the ability to tune out the shooting noise while allowing for conversation to be heard. The construction of the muffs and the materials used to build them should ensure a long service life. The fit is excellent and it works whether or not you are wearing a ball cap to shoot. I have had other muffs fit badly over a cap. I highly recommend the Patriots if you want to protect your hearing.
