Cirrus EarGuards Combination Swim and Noise Ear Plugs for Adults and Children (NRR 20)

I get these for my son who is now 8. He has holes in his ear drums and requires water protection for swimming and at the ocean. They work very well much of the time. With practice he has learned to put them in himself (hard because you really do have to pull up on the ear to get them in the canal properly.) Like all the ones we have tried, the more he goes under water the more they loosen due to the air/water pressure in the ear. Most of the time he is able to recognize it before they leak. They do block a lot of sound, which for our use is a negative. The pack comes with a kid pair and an adult pair. My mil uses the adult ones in the shower and loves them.

These earplugs do a fairly good job, but there are better ones on the market. They fit reasonably well, but the fit is ever so slightly uncomfortable due to the straight edges on the flanges. Ear plugs with curves flanges are much more comfortable and provide a tighter seal against noise.

Love them. They are my favorites to take to concerts and when I go out dancing as the music is almost always too loud. My boyfriend uses the big ones, I use the small ones. Can't live without them. Perfection.
