Sensgard ZEM® SG-26 Natural Sound Banded Hearing Protector (NRR 26)

This is what I have been after.

Pricey, but very comfortable. I like the headband style hearing protection so when not in use, it hangs around my neck and is there when I need.

To many headband style earplugs end up hurting my ears after using for an extended amount of time.

Seem to work well and are MUCH more comfortable then anything else (other then ear plugs) Not sure how they will perform at the range though.

Competitive pricing for prompt delivery. Comparatively low shipping cost and quick shipment and delivery. Very effective noise reduction while permitting normal conversations to be heard. Much more comfortable than eat muggy and much more effective than foam plugs.

Works: For Air Tools, including Long Barrel Air Hammers (>3", used to separate control arm bushings), and still hear the neighbors complain. You do need to seat them in properly as instructed. Oil, earwax, and other CH compounds can foul the foam seals. Seals need to be replaced when you can't seat them properly. Silicone (or other oil resistant material) seals should be considered as a future upgrade.

Product does not seal in ear unless pressed, but even the, it will release. Good enough to use for .22 handguns, but does not provide NRR 31 protection.

Excellent lightweight hearing protector, a good balance of protection while still allowing important external sounds.. Follow the instructions on the back of the package (RTFM!) to rock the band forward and then back again to 'set' the soft plugs into your ears - it really works. I wish I could buy these in the UK, shipping from the US and import taxes into the UK really hurts!
