Hocks Ear Balm

Felt no benefits that it advertised

I live in a city, so unfortunately use ear plugs regularly. fyi - I used to use the round waxy version, recently switched to plastic inserts that can be regularly washed.

After using either ear plug type for a while, I would get some sort of scaly skin by my ears that was really annoying, building up to mild inflammation, and nothing seemed to help aside from just not using ear plugs for a length time...

until this!

Within two applications, I noticed the scaly skin and itching had stopped. WHOO HOOO!

My husband snored like a chainsaw in bed due to undiagnosed sleep apnea. There were nights when I clawed at my ears and drew blood when my earplugs fell out. I tried prescription ear drops and they worked temporarily. The ear balm works great, it’s a good over the counter solution just to stop the constant itch of having to wear ear plugs every single night. I’m glad I no longer wake up with blood under my fingernails from scratching at my ears. My only nitpick with the balm is that it comes in very small packages. I ordered two vials and so far I think they might last a month or so.

I tried everything to heal the irritation caused by earbud-style headphones that I now have to wear frequently for Zoom meetings. This works. Great product.
