Got Ears? Snappy In-Ear Isolation Earphones for use with Custom Musician Earplugs or Fat TipsAaron S.January 23, 2017I've had a pair of custom-molded Westone filtered earplugs for close to 5 years now that I use at concerts but more often when I'm playing gigs myself (I'm a drummer.) I like to practice to music and for the longest time I was just using over-ear headphones. Traditional in-ears simply don't fit in my ear canal - even with the smallest tips, be they rubber, foam, triple flanged, olive, etc etc. Now I can return the $100 Shures I bought a few weeks ago and enjoy this product, which gives me better sound (since I couldn't ever get a good seal with the Shures) for half the price.
Got Ears? Snappy In-Ear Isolation Earphones for use with Custom Musician Earplugs or Fat TipsMike BerlinDecember 2, 2013The product is great if you already have the ear plugs / molds. I am a drummer looking for a way to have in-ear monitors using my existing earmolds/plugs. They fit in the molds great, the quality of the cables/connectors are very nice. The sound quality is not that great. I think it might have to do with pushing sound through those existing ear molds, but there is no low end and the top end is lessened. Overall for speach, casual listening - they are great. I would not recommend them for a pro application.
Got Ears? Snappy In-Ear Isolation Earphones for use with Custom Musician Earplugs or Fat TipsPeter WingOctober 10, 2013They are comfortable and stay in place thanks to the custom earmolds and quality cord. The sound is characterized by the midrange. The highs have a little less presence than the HD 25's I compared with. There is not much bass to be had here. The overall sound is quite pleasant. It's easy to mess up frequency response in a pair of headphones by trying to get "bass" response from tiny headphones without balanced armature drivers. This headphone does not try to be something its not, and as a result, presents a respectable and enjoyable soundstage. I would buy them again for sure.
