FliteMate™ Reduces Pressure & Pain During Flight

FliteMate™ Flying Ear Plugs are made specifically to improve your comfort while flying. The rapid pressure changes that occur during takeoff and landing often cause pressure to build up painfully in the inner ear. By wearing FliteMate™ ear plugs from takeoff through landing, the pressure changes are moderated, giving the inner ear more time to adjust to the changes in pressure that are unavoidable during flying trips.

FliteMate™ ear plugs feature a tiny vent in the ear plug body that lets the higher pressure inside the ear dissipate slowly over time allowing the inner ear more time to adjust to the change in pressure. For many people this additional time means reduction or elimination of the ear pain that so many passengers suffer during their plane rides.

In addition to managing the pressure changes to reduce ear pain, FliteMate™ ear plugs also moderate the infernal noise that can make flying so tiring. The 22 NRR reduces the noise volume by more than 75%, while still letting you carry on conversations with your seat-mate without the need to remove the earplugs. The "natural sound" characteristics of FliteMate ear plugs means they will not distort the sound of music when worn at clubs and concerts, so you can wear your FliteMate™ ear plugs to protect your hearing in all kinds of noisy places between flights. As a bonus, the clear flanges make your FliteMate™ ear plugs almost invisible in the ear.

FliteMate™ ear plugs are washable and reusable making them a bargain relative to other brands of flying ear plugs that are not washable, and so cannot be used but for a single trip. Two sizes included in this ComboPack to fit most people from teens through adults.

On a recent 7 hour flight, they were very comfortable and worked very well - no blocked ears and I didn't have to take them out because of discomfort. I have bought more!

This is the best product I have ever tried for flying. It worked perfectly and allowed my ears to be clear and open once I arrived at my destination. . Highly recommended if you have inner ear issues while flying. I will not leave home without them, obviously consult your doctor.

I've dealt with severe ear pain for years and had in fact blown out both ear drums on one particularly bad flight years ago. The pain was excruciating--requiring an Otolaryngologist's aid. He installed titanium tubes through my eardrums--saving my hearing. Unfortunately they eventually work their way out. WHILE they remained there was no ear pain at all while flying--a huge relief. They were replaced a couple of times but it's a surgical procedure--insurance calls it 'elective'. Tried everything on the market. FliteMates are what work best, along with Afrin saline and an over-the-counter decongestant. I found out this has long been SOP for pilots. My choice is 2 Tylenol/Sinus 45 mins before the flight--Afrin immediately before takeoff, install flitemates on plane before takeoff. Remove after touchdown.

My ear problems while flying have gotten worse over the years. These earplugs -- combined with my usual Claritin and Afrin -- really do the trick. No pain and no clogged ears when the plane descends. As someone with a smaller ear canal, it was also great to find an ear plug that comes in different sizes.

I have suffered with horrible ear pain and pressure upon landing when I fly. I fly quite a bit for business so every time I fly is a challenge. I got these ear plugs just browsing online and read the reviews. I had NO expectations as I have tried every remedy there is to ease the pain. I was able to try them this week. Incredible!!! No pain whatsoever. My ears popped and did not clogg up. I was able to do both my flights pain free. I recommend them! I even shared my experience on FB in hopes I can help someone else.

These turned out to be fantastic, fully as good as the reviews indicated. Getting the correct size is the key. I usually wear child size but the medium size on these worked. If offered, get the sample pack which has small and medium at a discount. I'm glad I did as the small might not have worked And I suffer terribly when flying during take off and especially landing. I had the most comfortable trip ever this time. Thank you HearTech!
