Originally created for hunters to help them hear the game before the game can hear them, Woodland Whisper ITC earpieces amplify the sounds around you, and with two devices, you can readily tell from which direction sound is coming.
Woodland Whisper ITC also provides moderate protection from the noise of a muzzle blast. The amplifier compresses the soundscape, reducing the impact on your hearing. For hunting with small bore weapons, the protection is generally adequate. We do not recommend using these devices for practice shooting or for larger weapons.
For those with mild hearing loss who are considering hearing aids, Woodland Whisper can be an economical first step in gaining experience with a hearing enhancement device, without investing thousands in a medical hearing aid.
