The SleepMate itself comes in two different models, the 980A and the 580A. The 980A offers two speeds, which means a choice of two volume levels, and is the better choice for customers seeking a high-end, basic machine. The 580A is more cost-effective and offers just one uniform level of white noise, making it an economically sound choice. Both machines sport adjustable slots for easy choice of tone and pitch.
