NPSF™ -- Are you a hotelier trying to help your guests sleep more comfortably in spite of noise they can hear from adjacent rooms (or from their snoring bed partner)?

What to Try... ...And Why:
Disposable Foam Ear Plugs Foam ear plugs offer the highest noise protection, but most people do not know how to properly insert them and so some will complain that the plugs block little noise and/or they ooze out of their ears. You could explain to those who complain about them, how to use them properly (here is a video we recommend: How to properly fit a foam ear plug.) but of course it would be better if you could avoid the complaint in the first place.

Foam ear plugs are the least expensive option and I would suggest our own Got Ears? Brand called "Got Ears?® Natural™" which are a nice neutral color, and a very inexpensive high quality option, at just over a dime a pair. However, there are many different foam ear plugs available in the market and some may offer styles or colors you prefer, so if you want to check out the range of options before you decide, we offer several ear plug trial packs that let you try out a bunch to find your favorites.
Moldable Silicone or Wax Ear Plugs Moldable silicone ear plugs are much easier to use for those not familiar with ear plugs, but they are more expensive at around $.50 per pair. However, if your guests stay for several days, the moldable silicone ear plugs can be re-used throughout their stay, while the foam ear plugs are just a single use item. Our top recommendation would be Mack's Pillow Soft Moldable Silicone Ear Plugs because they are top quality, competitively priced and they are available in single pair packs so they are easy to distribute to your guests as needed. Mack's ear plugs are not rated quite as high as are the foam ear plugs we recommended above (NRR 22 vs NRR 32,) but they are more comfortable for use during sleep, and the novice user is more likely to get the full rated noise reduction, because they are simpler to use.

If you decide to go with Mack's, we recommend that you also stock some at your checkout desk where I am confident your guests will ask if they can buy some to take with them after having the experience of using these ear plugs during their stay at your facility. (6 pair packs of Mack's for resale)
Custom Labeled Ear Plug Packets While you are helping improve your guests' stay at your lovely facility, you may as well brand the experience so they are reminded of how thoughtful you were to provide them with ear plugs as a sleep aid. We offer the addition of custom printed labels applied to most any of the ear plugs we sell, starting at quantities as low as 100 pairs.
Bulk Ear Plug Dispensers Finally, consider putting your ear plug program on automatic. Many disposable foam ear plugs are available in bulk dispensers. You could install the dispensers next to the ice machines and let guests help themselves as needed. These work by turning the dispenser tube and the plugs fall, one at a time into your hand. No trash from baggies and the cost is less than for bagged ear plugs. Of course there are those kids to consider...
