3M VFlex 9105 Particulate Respirator Details
The 3M 9105 provides 95% filtration efficiency against non-oil based particulate. This is an extremely low-cost disposable respirator with a smart new design. Aside from being a very economical choice, what really sets these respirators apart from the rest is their unique v-shaped pleats. The 3M VFlex breaks the mold for traditional respirators, taking on a new shape that flexes more easily with mouth movements so you can talk freely, without your mask getting in the way. These v-shaped pleats also increase the overall surface area of the VFlex mask, making it a breeze to breathe while wearing your respirator.
Prior to use, the 3M VFlex is a flat-fold mask, which means you can easily carry it in a pocket so you always have your respirator at hand when you need it. The mask is spacious when unfolded, with the v-shaped pleats and an embossed front panel helping the lightweight respirator to keep its shape. Though roomy, the VFlex has only a minimal impact on your field of vision so you can still see clearly while staying protected from airborne particulate. These respirators are compatible with a broad range of protective safety eyewear, as well as with most styles of hearing protection.
These masks are easy to use and comfortable. 3M's proprietary filter media helps make breathing easier, and the unique tabs at each side of the mask make it quicker than ever to position the respirator on your face. The adjustable noseclip allows you to get a customized fit and a secure seal. The clip is also metal-detectable and helps prevent glasses from fogging, too. The elastic headbands contain no natural rubber latex components, and the inner layer of the mask is soft but easy to breathe through. The result is a disposable respirator that is as comfortable and effective as it is clever and inexpensive.

About Efficiency
Filter efficiency shows how much filter leakage can be accepted. Higher efficiency means less leakage.
95%, 99%, and 99.97% are the most common filter efficiency ratings.
